Paul Nicholas ready to get you hooked on panto
We interview the Wyvern star - PLUS WIN TICKETS!
With only a few weeks until the doors open at the Wyvern Theatre for this year’s panto we hooked up with actor Paul Nicholas to talk about his preparations for playing the part of Captain Hook.
The actor, famous for playing Vince in the popular 1980s BBC comedy Just Good Friends and taking on lead roles in countless West End successes, will be starring in Peter Pan, which
opens on 11 December.

“I am delighted to be in Swindon,” commented Paul, “the Wyvern is a lovely theatre and I’m looking forward to spending the coming weeks there.”
“I have played the part of captain hook before so I’m looking forward to playing the part again. I love playing the villain because it’s easy to be evil and you have the crowd booing you whatever you say.
"Hopefully, people can expect the panto to be funny, scary and, most importantly, entertaining.”
The pantomime starts on Saturday 11 December 2010 and continues until Sunday 09 January 2011.
